Mahaveer Jain Vidhyalaya Sansthan is a non-government organization, registered under the Society registration 1985. Since March 1986 it has been working on developmental issues to benefit poor and deprived sections with special emphasis on women and child development at education, health and livelihood front.
MJVS believes that education and health is constitutional right of the people and its provision is a fundamental duty of the state and civil society. MJVS was initiated by the spirited missionary Pdt. Jeevat Ram Sharma as a crusade against ignorance. Today a number of inspired and adroit alumni are serving the society and are involved in the process. The initial years of MJVS focused on Education as primary sector, while now it applies the principles of integration.
MJVS has adopted a participatory and people centered approach directed to protect basic rights of people living in poverty through awareness and empowerment. Our main strategy is to develop linkages with various government schemes and other opportunities through collaboration.
For MJVS, education is a facilitation tool to address the aspects of right to participate; to information; freedom of expression; of assembly and of association for marginalized people whose voice is never heard by the dominant classes. During recent years MJVS started playing role of 
empowerment of deprived part of community dalits, women, physically challenged and children around development services and basic right issues.
MJVS seeks to improve the overall status of rural communities especially tribal through creating awareness and capacity building of providers.
Mahaveer Jain Vidhyalaya Sansthan has come into existence by virtue of an special Act of Rajasthan State. With the humble beginning in the 1983. The group today has a composite strength of 700 students, 100 faculty members and 200 non teaching staff strength. The campus is spread in an area of 9400sq Mt. & newly building is constructeed on 10 acurs with beautiful landscape, lust green campus and sprawling playground. Most of the department in the constituent colleges in the university excel out in their category and hold the front rank in the country. . The Institution has also pioneered to start a variety of new programmes leading to high profile career in the highest rated profession.
